About the Author
Born in Grenada on September 1969, Marcus D. Bethel grew up on a tiny Grenadine Island of Petite Martinique. He attended the only primary school on the island but later moved to the sister isle where he received a secondary education at the Bishop’s College Carriacou. After graduating in July 1986, he indulged himself in the seaman life only to be interrupted by a short stint as a teacher in 1988. After migrating to New York, he enrolled in Brooklyn College in the Fall of 2001, from where he graduated with a BFA in Creative writing. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
